1. Activating Free SSL Certificates via the Client Portal

SSL certificates encrypt communication between your website visitors and the server, ensuring security and trust. SSL also prevents browsers from showing warnings about insecure websites.

JomeTech Africa provides free SSL certificates with every hosting plan. These certificates are automatically installed using the AutoSSL system for domains hosted with us.

Steps to Activate or Check SSL Installation:

1. Log in to Your Client Portal:
   Go to clientarea.jometechafrica.com.

2. Access cPanel:
   Navigate to your hosting service and click Login to cPanel.

3. Check SSL/TLS Status:

   • Go to the SSL/TLS Status section under Security in cPanel.
   • Review the SSL status for all your domains. Domains with active SSL certificates will show as "Secured."

4. Force AutoSSL (if necessary):

   • Select domains that are not secured and click Run AutoSSL to install the SSL certificate.

5. Force HTTPS Redirection (Optional):

   • Enable the "Force HTTPS" option in cPanel or add a rewrite rule in your .htaccess file:
