Prohibited Activities
You may not use our services to:
- Send unsolicited bulk email (spam) — outbound mail limits apply

- Distribute or operate cryptocurrency miners
- Engage in fraud, identity theft, or financial scams
- Host gambling sites without proper licensing
- Operate IRC servers, bots, or peer-to-peer file sharing systems
Resource Usage
Our shared hosting resources are designed for typical website needs. To ensure quality for all clients, we monitor:
- CPU usage — sustained high CPU may require an upgrade
- RAM consumption — single-process memory usage is capped
- Disk I/O — excessive read/write operations may be throttled
- Inode count — excessive small files may require cleanup
- Email volume — outbound limits prevent spam abuse
Accounts that consistently exceed normal usage will be notified and asked to upgrade or optimise.
Email Usage
- Maximum 200 emails per hour on shared hosting
- SPF, DKIM and DMARC records must be properly configured
- Mailing lists require double opt-in consent
- No purchased email lists may be used
Backups
While we provide daily automated backups, you should not rely solely on these. Maintaining your own backups is your responsibility.
Reporting Violations
If you believe a JomeTech-hosted site violates this AUP, please report it to abuse@jometechafrica.com. Include the URL and a description of the issue. We investigate all reports promptly.
Enforcement
Violations of this AUP may result in:
- Warning notice with request to remediate
- Suspension of the offending service
- Termination of all services without refund
- Reporting to relevant authorities for serious violations
We reserve the right to suspend services immediately without notice in cases involving illegal activity, child safety or active threats to our infrastructure.
