1. Creating Backups in cPanel:
Backups ensure that you can restore your website in case of errors or data loss.
- Log in to cPanel.
- Navigate to the Backup or Backup Wizard under the Files section.
- Click Download a Full Account Backup to back up your entire cPanel account.
- (Optional) For specific parts, you can back up:
- Home directory files.
- MySQL databases.
- Email forwarders and filters.
- Save the backup file to your local computer for safekeeping.
2. Restoring Websites in cPanel:
To restore your website from a backup:
- Go to the Backup section in cPanel.
- Under Restore a Home Directory Backup, upload the previously downloaded backup file.
- To restore databases:
- Go to Backup Wizard, and under Restore, upload the backup file for the database.
- Wait for the process to complete. Your website will be restored to its previous state.
