To reduce spam and ensure your inbox remains clean, use SpamAssassin in cPanel.
How to Enable and Configure SpamAssassin:
- Log in to cPanel.
- Navigate to the Spam Filters section under the Email category.
- Enable SpamAssassin if it’s not already activated.
- Adjust the spam threshold score (lower scores filter more emails but may flag legitimate emails).
- (Optional) Enable Auto-Delete Spam to automatically remove high-scoring spam emails.
- Add specific email addresses or domains to the whitelist (to always allow) or blacklist (to always block).
Creating Custom Email Filters:
- Go to the Email Filters section in cPanel.
- Select the email account you want to configure.
- Click Create a New Filter and specify:
- Conditions (e.g., "From contains spam@domain.com").
- Actions (e.g., "Move to folder: Spam" or "Discard message").
- Save your changes.
